Digital Property After Smyth Release
SWVRJA documents one concrete post-release property path. A former inmate may use the inmate number and password to log into SmartInmate and download photos, messages, and postal mail without charge. Those files are the person's communications content, not the public routine booking photograph. The two should not be confused in a records request.
No official SWVRJA page was found for physical property pickup, release identification, the exit door, a family waiting point, or transportation after release. Regional Reentry After Smyth Release
The Highlands Community Collaboration Council documents a reentry network across Smyth and seven nearby localities. That wider footprint matches the local custody system: confinement may be in Abingdon, court records remain in Smyth, and supervision may be regional.
